Generally, we can’t say he has a relationship with every big player in the industry but at least we know he has a good one with Davido because he recounted his experience with Davido during an interview. Here’s what he shared.
“…that was in December 2021. Davido flew me out to Ghana. He was just asking what I’d be doing next week, I said nothing and he said I should join him in Ghana. He flew me to Ghana for a week and boarded me the entire week. And you know what is crazy? Let me tell you what is crazier, this is the first time I’m saying this on air, ‘David is like the most humble person ever that I’ve seen. For someone with that kind of status, he’s like the most humble person ever’. Let me tell you something that happened as we were coming back from Ghana to Nigeria. I was in his private jet and was feeling all shy. He noticed that I was all to myself and quiet and he was like what’s going on, shake up. He asked me what I wanted to eat and asked them to bring food and everything for me. What blew my mind was when we were going to land. Everybody was unbuckling their belts and getting ready to get off the plane and Davido asked me to sit down for pictures. I told him I was shy and didn’t know who to ask to take photos of me and he said I should just sit that he’d take the pictures. Davido literally stood up and was bending to take photos of me from different angles. It was crazy, that man is just something else. I don’t think there’s someone in that level that’s really as humble as he is to be honest. He is an amazing person.
